Channels are copies of the same map used to spread crowds; switching (CC) currently wipes active buffs such as the 2x EXP coupon — a known launch bug.
What it is
Channels are copies of the same map on the one shared server. Crowded zones are split across channels so players can spread out, and you switch with the channel-change option — commonly called CC — to find free spawns.
What to know
- Step label — Switching channels moves you to a different copy of the same map.
- Step label — CC is a normal part of grinding — use it to escape packed hunting areas.
